Climbed with Stu (wall-crawler.co.uk). We were able to access the beginning of the climb 1.5 hours before low tide. By being at the access point that early we had plenty of time to do the climb and to look around the base of the stack. Climb done in 2 pitches, both pitches at VS/ 4c. There were some new tat at the top, so we used those for abseiling, though we sacrificed a screwgate crab as the ones in situ were looking dodgy. | mazz | 15/09/2019 |
Not ticked. There looks to be a viable path down, from SS 13126 45626, albeit choked with guillemots today. Looks viable pre May or after mid August when birds gone. Crux looks to be top 10m. Should be cut off at highest tides only BUT some online climbing info recommends (100m) abseil, so beware. | RHW | 01/06/2019 |
