Not ticked! Impressive blade of rock as viewed from NNW, looks hard to reach and to climb. 180m attached stack 200m NNW also looks hardish, probably P20RHW30/06/2021
Not ticked. Info only. It is one amazing pinnacle. The 1:25000 map indicates that it might be possible to drop southwards down a gully to a cove. At low tide it would then be possible to cross the cove, go over the grass neck to the south side of the pinnacle and up its south ridge. The start of the gully is at NG 32513 27299 at 170m and is at a notch between a pinnacle (NG 32503 27268 and 186m) and the cliff edge. I attempted this. I went down from the notch towards the zawn. I got perhaps half of the way down when common sense made me go back. At this point it was steep loose grass leading into the unknown. If I'd got down I could see that the north, east and west sides were too difficult for me. Taking a rope or coming in from the sea could be a good idea. I did the pinnacle at NG 32503 27268 as a consolation.Alan Moore25/05/2021
Not ticked. Info only. A lengthy patrol on OSM around the lengthy coastline of Skye surprisingly failed to find any new stack Tumps. However this attached headland did rear its head sufficiently to be noticed and promoted to tumpdom.Chris Pearsonblank
