With Norman and Dangerous Dave. Lovely and scrambly, though ripped bare legs on brambles on way down. Avoided them by keeping left on reascent. | Thearlaichdubh | 11/09/2023 |
With Thearlaich from the old tower, through brambles, over rocks and up to summit one hour before low tide. Another 3 in our party had already ascended and we met them on their way down. | NormanW | 11/09/2023 |
Walked from the car park down to Noirmont Tower. Easy scramble over dry rocks to reach the island. The hill is covered in succulent vegetation. With Anne & Eric. We met Norman & Charlie on the way back down. Direct ascent to the car park on feint track through short gorse. | Dangerous Dave | 11/09/2023 |

Crossed 2.5 hours before low tide. Approach path through vegetation leaves opposite hillside to left of bench. Easy scramble over rocks at base. Ascent pathless, but easy low growing veg. | kindpercy | 24/03/2023 |
On a long, hot bike ride round the island. Descended path from headland car park to black and white tower (La tour de Vinde) then walked round rocks 2hrs before LW and easily up vegetated east slopes. Doesn't look like it's cut off for long, p30 status seems marginal. Straight back up gorsy slopes to tower. | AndyS | 17/06/2022 |
