MTB, Waskerly way, Oxen Law and Salter's gate. Bridleway toward Wolsingham. Trig point adjacent to BW and on to mound just to the North. Wonderful summer evening. | John Lee | 15/06/2023 |

From Salter's Gate along bridleway. Top and trig. | chrisbien | 09/11/2022 |
Nice walk from north in morning sun. Unusual for me to be looking into the Pennines from the east. The purple hills look nice from a distance. | Wycombe Wanderer | 30/08/2022 |
Ran from Castle Hills over the heather to trigpoint, then 100m N to the indiscriminate summit, and on down for a loop of Tunstall reservoir, before climbing back up to the trig and back to Castle Hills | madaddo | 11/08/2022 |
From Salter's Gate easily to trig then across to the top. | Bramley | 14/04/2022 |
Headed up here whilst finding mountaineering challenge geocaches. | lordbigfoot | 31/01/2022 |
Parked at Salters Gate and followed the track up to the trig point. Walked on the fell many times but this was the first time I'd made it as far as the summit and the trig point | deadheaduk | 26/01/2022 |

From near Foresters' Lodge, parked along with anglers and kayakers. Walked across Tunstall reservoir dam, then up. Trig first then summit, not easy to pinpoint. | Aye Jimmy | 11/09/2020 |
Circuit from Tnstall reservoir. | PreCambrianLife | 20/08/2020 |
Parked just along from the Foresters Lodge and walked over dam. Followed the advice of gamekeeper via moorsman. Good going all the way. Glorious 12 th tomorrow but saw no grouse. Probably moved to avoid being shot. | Campbell Singer | 11/08/2020 |
Roadside parking (half on road/footpath) alongside the start of the reservoir (alt 221m). Excellent path with a short cut through the trees to avoid first road bend. Met the gamekeeper who was unaware of the hill's new status. Has no problems but asked if I could request walkers to take the path from the main track to the trig then cross the moor to the summit rather than just ploughing directly through the managed heather. DON'T take the inviting bridlegate on the way down. It doesn't lead back to the main track! 4.23km return. 1 hour. 130m ascent. | moorsman | 20/06/2020 |
From easy parking at Salter's Gate to N. | mae | 13/06/2020 |
I've been to the trig point dozens of times, but now the top is bagged on a government allowed episode of exercise. Lovely, sunny day. Walked from Sunniside | maknipe | 19/04/2020 |
Regularly walk up here | Gary Heath | 01/08/2018 |
Cairn and trigpoint visited on walk across heather from Tow Law | cjo | 14/08/2016 |
Moorland top -bagged as it is the highest point on Landranger sheet 88.
Walk up from south - took wrong right hand track so some rough cross country on way up. Top is 127m beyond (NE) of trig (according to Harold Street).
An armchair tick 8 years later when elevated to Tump status during Covid-19 lockdown. | Chris Pearson | 24/06/2012 |
