Logged Descriptions  (logged by 6 users)ByDate of Ascent
From NE, parking at entrance to Bryn Forest. Followed good forest track uphill almost all the way to top. Approached top from east through trees. A white carrier bag currently occupies the HP. A number of nearby trees are marked presumably for felling. Went to wall and went back to track alongside wall. Here found a Subaru tailgate, a door, 4 tyres and a radiator. Recompletion of the UA.PeterD22/05/2021
forest tracks from maesteg golf course easy through mature pines, tramp about highest point appears 25 ms north of wall junctionunderhill28/11/2020
Roadside parking ok (SS 8018 9087). RoW and good forest tracks to SS 8113 9068 whence took a near enough direct line through easy conifer plantation. A re-completion of Neath Port Talbot hills.jonglew27/09/2020
From Brynglas. And in conjunction with Mynydd-Bach. Final approach is easiest from the track to the south. Next time, I must remember to take my map print out. Thank goodness for GPS and a half decent memory.Campbell Singer05/09/2020
From W, RoW starts 100m S of expected location and not in best condition, L on first forest road to find fairly bramble free route to next, followed E then N to summit, at wall junction: Lidar location to NE seems a little lower. Warm sunny pm but shorts would have been a bad ideaRHW11/07/2020
