3/5 A round from Hellifield Car Park. Up to Hellifield Haw, continue up Haw Lane, fork off left on footpath to climb then access Newton Moor Top Open Access Land, descend North onto the Langber Lane and use footpaths back to Lingber Hill, then down to the road and found a way up to Crane Field Hill by going to the lodge before the farm, through the gate to right of their drive and double back South West to go under first tunnel under railway (this avoids a nasty deep drainage ditch). Back on lane to Hellifield detouring at last railway bridge to pick up Waspber Hill from the West of the hill. 4 hours.nickywood103/02/2024

From Hellifield after Newton Moor, FP to HP and then down Goal.PeterD03/07/2021
Farmer at Lingber Hill very sociable and aware of why people want to enter his field. Has no problems at all with hill baggers. Will chat for some time with you. The path is signposted where it leaves the road. Walk through his yard to the far end. On your left is a tubular barrier which can be easily opened. Go through this gate and on your right is a plywood gate. Turn left after passing through it and another gate alongside the corrugated iron shed gives access to the field. All accessible and available.moorsman23/04/2021
A circular walk linking 4 tumps to between Hellifield and Otterburn, from the car park in Hellifield. Visited Hellifield Haw, Newton Moor Top, Crane Field Hill and Lingber Hill (very helpful farmer at Lingber showed me the complex route through his farm and history of the RoW). 12.7km with 350m ascent in 3h30m. After Hellifield Law, Waspber and Crane Field Hill, climbed over gate as could not see a way through farm that was obvious, presumably these barriers are intentionally deterring people! Easy ascent past cows to flattish top, wandering around to make sure then over stone steps in wall heading for Newton Moor top....Dazingdale12/09/2020
15 degrees, breezy, mottled sky, via footpath to south with Bag For Life. Not so much sheep barriers in the farmyard but an attempt at human barriering, I'd say. Climbed over. On to Crane Field Hill.Wycombe Wanderer23/08/2020
Had a minor challenge getting through Lingber Farmn. There were temporary sheep barriers everywhere, Nice little top.GordonAdshead07/08/2020

Walked from Hellifield. Took track towards Goal and then up to the top. Both sides of wall visited. Bypassed a herd of frisky cows on the way up.Alan Caine17/05/2020
Parked in Hellifield, although there is parking on minor road to south of hill.To avoid farmyard, went on tarmacced lane to Goal.Exact high spot unclear to me,so stood on various possibilities.Surprisingly good views.catman13/05/2020
From South, footpath goes through farmyard past house. Chose to climb over gate 20/25 metres east into field and then make curving circuit right and up field near to right hand fence.vegibagger21/04/2020
