Parked on Boundary Lane. I don't know who has permits to park in the permit holders car park but I don't like them.clivevilla21/01/2023
Parked on verge in the bellmouth of the car park (on the public highway side of the gate).DC11main01/06/2022
Revisit as nearby to check we really had visited the HP. Having thrashed though the gorse of the alternative, I feel assuaged but it's not very clear. Land near trig on obvious tumulus is more satisfying and a nice lunchspot. Recently burned. Parked in layby to west of carpark as aggressive signed sayng permits only in obvious CP to N.Denise 30/10/2021
Parked in layby on Boundary lane W of the permit holders only car park. Trig on the nice summit mound - recently burnt from wild fire but gorse rapidly re-establishing itself. Also got prickled by visiting the top of the gorse covered rise (Tumuli?) to the W which felt lower.RichardM30/10/2021
My first hill with a rope swing at the summit. It coped with two adults on it, so give it a go!summitter30/09/2021
From permit holders car park. 10 minutes up & back while my wife waited in the car just in case but all ok nobody else about.fosal2911/08/2021

Parked in the Permit Holders Only car park and legged it up the hill sharpish (thuggish sign threatens clamping and £50 fine to release).jonglew29/09/2015
Trig visit: pine-topped heathery knoll (ignore the gorsy knoll nearer to car park). OK view, nice heathland. Car park to N: £15 for annual fee or risk wheel clamping - not catering for passing baggers !RHW03/03/2007
