Parked by bridge at Aber falls.2 all day. Walked up road to top car park then straight up Foel Dduarth. Steep going on scree & through gorse but great view of whole valley and snow covered tops on gaining the ridge.Then stroll down to col and upto summit of Foel-ganol. On to Yr Orsedd,Carnedd y Ddelw.Drum, out & back to Pen y Castell,Foel-Fras,Carnedd Gwenllian,over Yr Aryg,Bera Mawr & Bera Bach then descending to Aber falls. Great views all daymart079716/04/2016

Parked at GR 731 715, room for several cars. Walked up good path through gorse to col then NE to Tal y Fan, back to col and up to Foel Lwyd then down to Bwlch y Ddeufaen. The path continues to follow the wall most of the way up to Carnedd y Ddwlw. Good views to Drum, Tryfan and to the coast. Returned to the Bwlch then partly on the old Roman road back to the car. STARTED A 2 DAY EXPEDITION THROUGH THE CARNEDDAU AT THE CAR PARK AT THE END OF THE ABER FALLS ROAD AND FOLLOWED THE EASY TRACK UP OVER CARNEDD Y DDELW TO DRUM. LEFT PACK WITH JOYCE AND WENT OUT AND BACK TO PEN Y CASTELL ON GOOD PATH. CONTINUED ON TRACK TO FOEL FRAS AND DID THE SAME WITH LLWYTMOR. VERY STRONG WIND ON THE RIDGE. PUSHED ON TO CARNEDD GWENLLIAN AND PITCHED TENT IN LEE OF SOME ROCKS. QUICKLY OUT AND BACK TO FOEL GRACH BEFORE DARK.BURGESS31/08/2013

Walk with friend on fine early autumn day. Start at the Bwlch y Ddeufaen car park, spent some time at the stones before taking the steepish climb up Drosgl. The summit is crowned by a fine (but damaged) Bronze Age cairn. Great views of Tal y Fan and Drum.thesweetcheat01/10/2011
