Started at the pay and display car park for the Minffordd trail where toilet facilities are available, and used the Nuttall Route taking in the summits of Craig Cwm Amarch, Cyfrwy, Cadair Idris, Mynydd Moel and Gau Graig. Ten and half mile with 3400ft of ascent no time recorded as I was with a group we took around seven hours.WAYNE ROWLETT23/04/2022
on route to Cadair Idris...please see that logScotty 2 Hotty22/01/2022
See Craig Llwyd for general misery. Carried on up here in lashing rain and very limited visibility. It was so bad that I erroneously scrambled up the little rock outcrop to the east of Craig Cwm Amarch before realising my mistake. Carried on up to the top, funnily it seemed less wet at the summit rocks. Dropped down to the col and started the ascent to Penygadair before finally forcing myself to admit that going on was really foolish. Skirted the lower path to the west of the summit then retraced my wet and miserable steps back to Minffordd. Very frustrating!thesweetcheat08/11/2021

started at Minffordd car park, Cadair Idris circular route with family. steep screey descent. This was lunch spot.rossdrummond28/05/2021
From pub parking at SW end of Tal-y-Llyn. Path up though woods does not exist but we found a way. Past farm and onto Craig Ddu. From there a super ridge up to Mynydd Pencoed then across to main Cadair ridge. Picked up Foel Ddu on way back which is nice top, but ground made rough by cattle on first half of climb up. With B and R.jenx27/05/2021

Walking some Nuttalls with my DadJake Simpson12/09/2020
Poor conditions, gale force winds, bad visibility and very wet. Started off in Dôl Idris Car Park and followed the Minffordd Path (taking the right fork across the Nant Cadair) followed the path which was easy enough to follow, though steep and loose in places to Mynydd Moel, followed the path round to Cadair Idris before rejoining the Minffordd Path, slow going on the descent and not the easiest path to follow (and quite trecherous in the rain due to loose scree) from the summit but eventually found it and followed down to Craig Cwn Amarch and then Craig Lwyd. Steps in the wet were very polished but eventually got back to the car park in one piece.lboutside23/08/2020

As Per Nuttall Walk 11m total - Craig Cwm Armarch, Cyfrwy, Cadair Idris, Mynydd Moel, and Gau Craig. Lovely Sunny Day and Good views throughoutJephcote8313/08/2019
Did Snowdon via Crib Goch in the morning then Cadair Idris in the afternoon. Picked this up along the way. Doesn't look much from the ascent but the view back on the way up to Cadair Idris shows the impressive profile of this hill. Wind quite strong here even on a nice day. Good clear views.MysteriousSue21/07/2019
