Parked in the lay-by by the bus stop. 1.5 mile anticlockwise circuit. Pleasant little walk.JulieB28/12/2023
4/7. As others parked in the layby near the bus stop, between the two cattle grids. Up track to trig and hp. Interesting info board about the local Bronze Age history and good views. Solorichard6901/12/2023
From bus stop at end of track.JGC16/10/2023

From the little lay by by bus stop as tradition dictates .. 1.5 mile solo run loop up gravel track over the rock slabs and across to trig then back via the stone … what a lovely spotmilejunkie20/04/2023
From near bus stop on the B road to south. Easy ascent along track and then path up to trig. And HP. Good view on clear day. Back via standing stone.PeterD21/01/2023

Parked in bancffosfelen but some of the OS green paths up near windmill blocked off. Awesome sunset though.Stevooo30/04/2021
7/9 Marilyn. Parked near bus stop as others. Easy going on track/paths, sadly first hill where weather closed in with light rain. Interesting historic spot.N.Morters24/07/2020
Parked near bus stop, up by standing stone then to trig and high point. Sleet came on so did not tarry but obviously many ancient parts to see.NormanW25/02/2020
same route as Gillunderhill17/08/2019
From road across Access Land via Standing Stone and up to the trig point from the east. No problems with brambles.Winterfloodian01/05/2019
Ditto Gill. I agree that gentle sloped slabs are preferable to bracken and brambles. Local free range horses.Topographer5729/09/2018
3/1 Marilyn day. A nice 2.4k circular walk from the B road in the village. (S)silveracorn_alan14/05/2018
A nice little stroll to start the day. Parked by the bus stop, walked up the track and then cut across to the slabs and enjoyed walking up them. Nice views and various antiquities at the top.Gill12/01/2018
Up farm track from road to SW in farm by mobile phone torch. Banking dog came out on the darkness behind me from farm near top which I just ignored It started barking again as I returned from the trig pillar and I shone a torchlight on it and it was actually constantly backing off too scared to come near me but then noticed owner who'd come out in the dark to investigate and ask what I was doing. Amazed I was going to hill summit by torch in the dark.vegibagger03/01/2018

Parked on minor road to north and walked through quarry warranting some minor scrambling to get out (note. the FP's shown on OS in quarry area don't appear to exist). Fine/dry.steve_a22/10/2017
From road following footpath on a wet August day. Nice views thoughRamblingpaul18/08/2017
From pull in by bus stop. A quick nip up the sloping bare rock leads to super views including the North Devon coast. 2/4 Marilyns this evening. If you want to sweat up this hill I suggest statring from the bottom of the hill in Pontyberrem -the road seems to go up and up and up.stig_nest05/08/2017
We were intending to do a circular walk around the edge of the quarry and then onto open access land to approach the summit from the north, but the RoWs around the quarry all appear to be blocked, so we did a there and back from Crwbin. Cool wee hill with a standing stone and a stone circle near the summit. With Keith and Ross.islamidget18/06/2017
Parked 480127. Parked in bus stop layby and short walk to trig point.Hippy7715/02/2017
Started walk from 109m spot height to west. Then ascended via the road to the access land. From there it as a lovely stroll through the cows to the top.garyhoney31/08/2016
Marilyn 4 of 5 bagged after a successful 2 lighthouse + other Siblet trip. Nice warm sunshine. Soloassynt_bob14/05/2016
Parked on B4306 and walked up public footpath that ends up north of the summit. Cut up onto access land and so to the trig. Easy. More horrid weather.geralddavison01/05/2016
Walked from B4306 via Rockview track. Quite interesting terrain but didn't live up to the promise of it being an SSSI, nor its apperance on the map. A Red Kite flew around, but likely because of the nearby tip. Back on Blaen-gain side. 35 minspwheeler29/04/2016
Parked in a layby SE of the access road at 479128. A short walk of 25 minutes with GB.bolton28/07/2015

Parked on grassy verge next to farm/bungalow track. Entered the gate by the track entrance and followed a grassy path which lead towards summit trig. Good views from top.bowlesy05/04/2015
Parked in layby, easy stroll apart from steep rock slabs.rhalstead05/04/2015
Didn't park at bungalow as it says No Parking... Plenty of wide verges. Same dogs didn't stop barking all way up and back down. Trig now painted white and flowers left by it, in memory?dicky12/03/2015
3/9 Parked near bus stop and followed right of way to just below summit. Short hop up for trig pillar, beacon, stone circle and good views !Fergalh29/01/2015
Parked next to bungalow (barking dogs at gate). Walked up grassy section of access land to the trig point. Operated ham radio for SOTA from there.G4OBK (Phil)22/01/2015
Caught 'bus from Carmarthan to Crwbin, then short walk to the topButeobuteo17/01/2015
Could see no sign of a path crossing at the right of way SE/NW, but much brambles.TeasyChris22/09/2014
Parking roadside few metres NW of junc B4306 & minor rd. Area is SSSI, access paths all over the place. Good all round views from summit, including the Worms Head. Cleaned up flush bracket on trig so it's now readable.jonglew23/06/2014
Parked on the road to the SW near the bus stop before making my way up via the track and then path through the ferns. There's some nice looking black horned cattle around which were friendly enough. Trig painted bright white and FB hard to read as there is so much paint on it.Father Ted10/09/2013
Another easy one. Interesting geology and history.huwthomas04/05/2013
From SN 480 126. Up via the immaculate slab beneath the trig and return via the impressive standing stone.summitsup19/02/2013

Walked up from Crwbin nice open moorland with no problems of access high point and trig near by each other. The type of hill you could stop at and have a cup of tea. Agree fine standing stone at SN 48015 13037.hodder06/09/2012
Dry, overcast, warm, calm and good views.iangalbraith14/10/2011
A few minutes from the road summit. Nonetheless, it doesn't mean you can't come off route and end up in brambles on the return!Eddie25/02/2011
Time approx. 10 min walk from road along track to farm and short ascent to trig pt. Met local man walking dog. dbb27/03/2010
