Staying at High House, Seathwaithe on an Ochils Mountaineering Club trip. We headed up to Glaramara first, into the mist, then along ridge toward Scafell Pike. By the time we got to Lincomb Tarns the mist had burned off and it was blue skies with light wind thereafter. We went over Allen Crags, Great End, Ill Crag and Broad Crag. Finishing on Scafell Pike and returned via the corridor route, 09:55hrs. We started off as a group of six, but Nicky & Linda turned off before Allen Crags (Linda hadn't been hillwalking in a while), Sharon decided to include Sca Fell as well, while Michael, Simon and I (cowardly) returned to High House.chillyman824/09/2022

At Esk Hause we turned right and made the easy ascent of great end. In no time we were there. Headed to the right cairn first then lay down in the middle for a well earned rest taking in all the views. Absolutely stunning. Looking down the gully’s. After something to eat we headed to the true summit and a smaller cairn to the south before making our way back to Esk HauseScotty 2 Hotty24/04/2021
