Took in Longridge Fell on Day 4 of our C2C walk. Sunny skies with extensive views of the hills of Bowland and the southern Dales. 2.7 mile out-and-back from Jeffrey Hill car park. Easy 103m ascent on mostly good paths with the exception of one boggy area. Great views from summit towards the Dales and Bowland. One I had never got round to walking: a delightful late summer day after a long drive from the south coast presented the opportunity. A short walk from the parking area on the road to the west, and the views north to Parlick/Dunsop fells excellent. Oh for a decent camera!JOHNS28/08/2021
