From Auchallater, did Creag Phadruig, Meall an t-Slugain, Creag an Loch and Creag nan Gabhar, including a wild camp. Ascended via grouse butts track just after Allt Phadruig, then contoured round to the loch. 4hr round of Carn Phadruig, Creag na Dearcaige, Creag Loisgte, Meall an t-Slugain and Creag an Loch.summitter22/08/2022
Route on ridge running all the way from Braemar to Lochnagar, with return along Glen Callater. Started with climb to Creag Choinnich, steep descent to beallach and climb to Carn nan Sgliat. Continued to Millstone Cairn (rough steep climb), Creag nan Leachda. On to Creag na Dearcaige and Creag Loisgte, descent to Loch Phadruig. Climbed Meall an t-Slugain, continued to Creag an Loch, joined path for a while and then Carn an t-Sagairt Mor, Carn an t-Sagairt Beag, Carn a' Choire Bhoidheach, and Cac Carn Mor and Cac Carn Beag of Lochnagar. Track up the Callater Burn from Auchallater (lovely river) then the track above Lochcallater Lodge, up and round to the 700m contour, then N to the summit. No cairn now, though stones around the boulder. Lovely views. Continued to Meall an t-Slugain.LizH22/06/2022
From Auchallater along track through Glen Callater to Lochcallater Lodge, then up excellent path from just before the Lodge to col before Carn an t-Sagairt Mor, then directly up steep slope to Creag an Loch, continuing NNW along ridge to Meall an t-Slugain, down steep slope to E end of Loch Phadruig and up to Creag Loisgte continuing to Creag na Dearcaige, descending very steeply to 668m col, ascending gradually to Creag nan Leachda, descending NW to col with Millstone Cairn (through gate in deer fence), up and down to Millstone Cairn, then descended first NW to col then WSW (over very difficult ground, recently planted with pines) to meet old ATV track and followed that down to A93 just S of Easter Auchallater (through another deer fence gate), and back to Auchallater along A93kdbennett01/08/2021

Cairngorm Club bus meet. Solo. From Auchallater walked on virgin snow on the track to Lochcallater Lodge. The path to Carn an t-Sagairt Mòr was obliterated. Made a rising traverse to Creag an Loch and down to the col beyond before following the fence posts to the summit of Carn an t-Sagairt Mòr.pwbellarby25/02/1996
