A brisk round of Beinn Fhada, A'Choich and Ben More. clockwise route with some snow on the ground. No need for crampons, but a few detours around the Scrabble to summit Ben more.Nicky C29/03/2020
Leader, walking with 19yr old daughter. Ascent of Ben More from sea level via Gleann na Beinne Fada, A'Chioch and the NW ridge that required some scrambling, returning on direct path to Loch na Keal shore. A fantastic mountain day. Weather was fine and dry, summit in cloud during ascent but cleared when topping. Excellent long range views. Day was chosen as a ridge of high pressure was passing between 2 cold fronts in what was otherwise a very wet period. Many marked and unmarked streams were fast flowing requiring multiple crossings plus two significant wider crossings, care required. Wind approx 30mph on summit, presented no real problem on the ridge due to direction.higlett15/08/2019
via Abhainn na h-Uamha then onto Ben Moresqueegs17/05/2019
From foot of Ben More path (9:45) walked to summit (12:30). Along fine ridge to A'Chioch (13:25) and on to Beinn Fhada (14:55). Continued round ridge to Beinn a'Ghraig (16:40) - fine stony top. Then off end of ridge and down to road, tricky in woods at bottom. Back along road to car (18:30). Some cloud earlier, but fine day with long views.dbb02/05/2019

Solo. From Knock. Up track on SW side of Loch Ba and up Glen Clachaig, initially on track and then path to col with spot height 332m. Left path and up ridge through boulders and scree to summit of A'Chioch. Route does not seem much used. I went SW to Ben More with a path and more or less well defined route with some scrambling. Down NW on standard Ben More route to road, taking a cut off low down to take me near Knock. Road blocked by damaged bridges which is one reason for my route choice.pwbellarby13/07/2012

So HOT. Lesley put her head in a shop freezer when we got down! Very long walk past Loch Ba - sea eagle seen through telescope of two birdwatchers -although it might have been my eyelash or a flying ant from this distance that I was looking at. L asked them why they were so exited by seeing a seagull ?? (sea eagle). Repeat of Ben More then 2 marilyns to N and back down to Knock.Chris Pearson01/08/2002
