Nice walk round from the forest south to Drosgol via an almost impassible ROW which is an old leat. Then up the slope on better ground. Dropped down to the ruin of Drosgol Farm, then over the bridge and up Banc Llechwedd Fawr, then north past Hyddgen, Bryn Moel, Foel Graffiau and Foel Fras before dropping down onto a heavily eroded bridleway back to the car.Neolith11/05/2017
Easy detour from the forest road to the east with just one fence to cross. Alan Moore08/04/2017
Parked in passing place/layby near to where Glyndwr's Way leaves the no through road at 775960. Round of Pen y Darren, Creigiau Bwlch Hyddgen, Foel Fras, Foel Uchaf, Foel Grafiau, FG W.Top, Bryn Moel and Mynydd Bychan.clivevilla24/03/2017

Parked at old mines then off in a counter clockwise loop through Ban yr Wyn (out and back), Foel Grafiau, Foel Fras, Moel Hyddgen, Pen Creigiau'r Llan, Banc Bwlchygarreg, West Top (Or East Top of next), Moel y Llyn then returned past old level after missing higher row. Note new footbridge just north of ford before Lluest-y-rhos (noticed after fording it). Open ground to south of Pen Creigiau'r Llan (shown as forest) but need to negotiate barbed wire. Overcast all day.SS17/05/2015
Continuation of walk from Pen y Darren and Creigiau Bwlch Hyddgen. Followed track south, then short stiff climb west onto flat summit (no cairn).marktrengove18/05/2014
just one fence to go over from track at 767 925.dicky13/07/2013
Parked by gravel bin at foot of two hairpin bends 775963. Zig zags on the lane, through farmyard following Glyndwr's markers. Steeply up across wet fields to follow the edge of a felled forest area up to top corner. Broad track with water running down. At the top, a gate led to a level and contoured bridal way for 2 miles around dull hills through several gates and finally up rough moor to the top at 11.40. No view - mist. (3 1/2 hrs.)arranc02/09/2012
Vaguely like Martin. Parked at Talbontdrain. Walked down road and took the forestry track. Thought it was a mistake - continued to the end. It was. Finally followed E side of valley on mainly forestry tracks to above waterfall then track and then summit. Fine walk after false start.destaylor09/08/2012
As nobody else will want to copy my route I will not explain it - except to say that I turned Foel Fras into a Fool's Thrash. My only advice - take a map with you.Martin R30/08/2011
From B&B at SN 777 958. Also visited the spot height 529m tops at SN 764 942 and SN 765 919 as well as Foel Uchaf @ 520+m at SN 769 924 (anxious not to have to use up my new hip revisiting resurveyed tops.)summitsup23/07/2011
