With Alex McBride from Fersit we climbed Stob Coire Sgriodain (978m) & Chno Dearg (1046m) Munro numbers 148 & 149 respectively for me, while repeats for Alex. We included the Munro Tops of Stob Coire Sgriodain South Top (958m) and Meal Garbh (976m). There was snow patches on Chno Dearg and the descent from here through the boulder field, was made unpleasant with the wet snow in between the rocks, no views due to cloud and quite cold, 7:12hrs all in.chillyman814/11/2020

Sunny, windy and good views. Both tops, in case, and sure enough...iangalbraith22/05/1994
After climbing up Sròn na Gàrbh-bheinne, Stob Coire Sgriodain and its subsidiary top with two companions I continued alone to Meall Garbh (977m two cairns), a minor top to the north* and then Chno Dearg. I descended NW, first running down a considerable snow field. Good view of snow covered peaks Stob a’ Choire Mheadhoin, Mamores, Buachaille Etive Mòr etc. *Subsequently I realised that the minor top was where the summit of Meall Garbh was located according to the 1974 edition of Munro’s Tables.pwbellarby04/04/1993
