Tourist track from the Old Man CP. Very misty start so contoured over to Hartaval initially before taking on The Storr. Thankfully the mist burned off and sunshine gave us a visible summit and easy clamber over to the E Top. Decided to head southwards, bagging The Storr South Top en route to Ben Dearg, A' Chorra-bheinn and Pein a' Chleibh. A great walk in perfect conditions only spoiled by the trudge back up the A855 dodging fast cars, wide motorhomes and dirty haulage trucks. Hey Ho, the lot of a bagger. 6.5 hrs total.summitter30/05/2023
Parked to S by waterworks, avoiding the pay and display car park. Across field to area of rock towers. Past all these and over a stile to reach a point about 500m NNE of summit, where a straightforward slope leads to the summit. Impressive area.PGCE01/04/2023
From free parking layby - NG 5142 5384 - easy walk west to path network. Top not difficult but must climb BEFORE the Storr as there is a massive gap between this top and the ridge.carole engel03/06/2022
Small cairn on small grassy mound in swirling cloud.Eerie. Via NE edge, from base of old man of Storr, parking in expensive carpark (£5).Denise 29/06/2021
Ascent of grass and patches of grit on N shoulder via the NE ridge/edge. Definite high point of vegetated rock topped with small cairn.RichardM29/06/2021
Circular walk from Loch Leathan - old man of Storr, The Storr, Brides Veil falls. With R and Joe.Dan Baddeley21/06/2021
Stands above a 200m drop so feels fairly airy.PeteF02/05/2021
Parked by water treatment works and up by wall, followed path past the pinnacles and up the NE ridge. Easier than I expected and not too exposed but very eroded in places and needs care. Continued to Storr by grassy gully, also easy.neilsan01/09/2020
Debs & Tali, Walk up from the car park, investigated what we could then walked the Skye trail via Hartival & Storr back to Portree. Down a gully by a small cairn, traversed across and up to the top. Fairly simple but looking directly down the gap from the Storr side was very airy.Mountain Goat24/09/2019
From the Storr via the traverse path leading to the NE ridge and a very cautious clamber to the pagoda-like summit, adorned with a tiny cairn.Nick Down128/05/2019
from Storr summit, quick jog over as Tanya didn't fancy it.Flatfield10/05/2019
Parked in Storr car park left at 6.10am, nice bit of exposure before heading to Storr. Company: Soloiandesbottes12/05/2018
parked overnight at The Old Man of Storr car park and in glorious weather but quite brisk wind finally made a one way traverse all the way up the Trotternish ridge. Came off it before Bioda Mor as I'd summitted it before and I wanted to get up Cleat and take a look at the two tricky other two little TuMPs off under the eastern cliffs. Great day had a sting in the tail. never got a lift and faced a gruelling 13 miles walk back which added another 5 hours till 2.25am Ouch! Deliriously tired.vegibagger02/06/2017
Car park, Old Man of Storr, The Storr, The Storr East Top, Hartaval, The Storr again and finally walked passed the Old Man to return to the car on a day of wall to wall sunshine.Dugswell210/05/2016

Last top of a long superb multi top run with Darren along the length of the Trotternish ridge from the bealach (left the car)to The Storr- then hitched back. Peering nervously down from the cliff edge above in mist this jutting top looked fearsome and unattainable - however - not so - carefully on path down through crags from Storr and steep grass up side saw the airy summit conquered.Chris Pearson20/07/2012
