Cycled up path/track beside River Livet from the west, dumped bike near the burn crossing and attempted to follow path heading east on map, it's not in good shape now and ended up choosing my own way up well frozen snow patches higher up.Dave McG21/12/2018
Walked in from road end west of Cabrach and camped at Black water crossing, then over river, just managed to stay dry with gaiters up track and then SW to Carn na Bruar, SE to Round hill then rather wanderingly E to Hill of Three Stones, NW to Cairnbralen andback to tent. A modified route to accommodate grouse shoot on N side of Cairnbralen early in day. mainly easy going over grass and pleasant enough.dickscroop19/08/2017
