From minor road to south. Parking spot near tunnel under motorway. Open gate to track. Up first sheep field onto open hillside. Solo.Dangerous Dave31/12/2023
Parked in a lay-by due S of Forside Hill. Through a field gate, over a sheep field and wee bit of heather to the top. Steep descent N then up Pilmore Hill. Headed northeasterly, picking up an ATV track over Ladygill Burn, eventually leading to a stone track below Little Law and nearly all the way to Roberton Law. Next it was SW to Wildshaw Hill, following a fence line then up a track to near the top. Continued along the fence line to Outer Law then grassy track south of the hill, which runs parallel to the M74, through a mineral extraction works, back to the start. 3.25hrs.summitter30/11/2023
Parked at old TelEx on old main road near Strand as had time to extend walk. Pleasant along quite road until first gate under motorway then across to gate then left side of fence to upper track and trods to trig. Back same way. Plenty parking near motorway as road is wide here for those with only 30 minutes to spare.SS27/03/2023
From south just west of farm at the start of track. Track round sheep fields then easily up to top. 2/3N.Morters30/10/2022
From dirt pull-in on minor road ~100m NE of tunnel uner M74 (NS 9203 2604). Walked NE on road to field gate then took a direct line up. On to Pillnore Hill, Roberton Law, Wildshaw Hill, Outer Law and return for a 11.7km round over mainly easy ground, but with a diversion north for an active quarry at NS900274 - marked disused on map.jonglew20/04/2022
Rather than annoy the farmer by trying to squeeze in of the field track entrances I parked down towards the M74 bridge in the large layby. A clockwise round of Forside Hill, Pillmore Hill, Roberton Law, Wildshaw Hill and Outer Law. From track to field, up to top of field and straight up to summit.Minto25/02/2022
10:00, 11 degrees, overcast with occasional drizzle, south-westerlies. Straightforward ascent from SE.Wycombe Wanderer31/12/2021
Quick up and down from the South.NormanW14/11/2021
Here for the trigpoint TP:UK log: Parked in a great spot at NS 92036 26043. Walked up road and through gate at NS 92240 26245. Up field to corner and across fence (signs it was electrified at one point but not today) then straight up (felt like Everest after 6 days full on bagging) back via same route. Now when I pass it on the motorway I can say ‘been up there’ rather than ‘there’s a trig up there’thejackrustles13/10/2021

A pleasant hill to ascend for a break, whilst driving through. Sane ascent as others through gates and up at the start of the track to the south. Descended north west for Pilmore Hill, avoiding a deep trough.JohnW17/10/2019
Parked at the end of the track to the south. Up around the field edge to a gate, and on up to the summit. Interesting wee valley beyond, on the way to Pillmore Hill.LizH16/06/2019
