Parked to south in lay-by on B4594. However, would recommend approaching from Old Radnor as HP on map no longer exists. Went to HP to SW of quarry, but the current HP is now to NE, as mentioned by others. There is a path that is not marked on map that takes you to the east of the church and from there you need to negotiate BWFs Bracken and brambles, this time of year not so bad. Difficult to tell whether HP is by tree or other side of quarry track by edge the latter definitely man made, the former possibly man made.PeterD08/04/2023

Parking by church in Old Radnor. Followed paths towards hill and realised that the summit has been quarried so identified the highest point on lip (over fence/ brambles) with steep drop below into active quarry. Interesting.Denise 19/03/2022
Path from village along W edge of active quarry until due W of high point, then in order:- BWF, thick bracken, BWF, more bracken, earth/rock bank, little used quarry rim road, high point on earth/rock bank guarding vertical quarry edge. Good views of the extensive quarry workings. Current high point same as Alan's 25-07-2021 log and I suspect this will most likely remain the high point as enlargement to the W will threaten the existence of Old Radnor village. I thought it a great summit, but I do quite like quarries.RichardM18/03/2022

A terrible hill. The highest point, temporarily, is at SO 25239 59011 right on the lip of the active face. Next week it will probably be gone. There are paths to use but they are difficult to find on the way up and when found are covered in brambles and fallen bits of trees. My recommendation is to leave it a few years and it will be demoted to being on no list except one of disappeared hills.Alan Moore25/07/2021

Walked up the new bulldozed road to view the absent summit. This hill no-longer exists! No-one about on Sunday. Accessed the closed footpath to the south of the hill from behind the two houses. The maps are all out of date. No access to main roads. All a bit of a mess really! The highest point still standing seems to be by the tree line to the north.Dangerous Dave15/09/2019
From B4594 Phone box layby to south, lanes then access land. Top is no longer, newly fenced area and signs saying footpath closed until 21/2/18. Top now quarried, found the next likely looking high point but suspect this won't be around for long.rhalstead10/02/2018

Horrible. I used the RoW from the village up to the quarry, then had several forays up to the edge through head high bracken and brambles, always noting a higher point to the north. If only I'd dared to follow the edge I could have avoided a lot of scratches.Colin Crawford23/06/2015
Started on footpath to SW then track to quarry edge, crossing a gate.Chris Peart17/04/2014

Followed the footpath from the east round the hillside and then up through a forest of ferns to the sawn off summit. Thought it was a Hump at the time only to find later that it had been demoted.Campbell Singer28/08/2013
Parked at Church & Pub in Old Radnor, short walk sth to footpath straight to top. Whats left of it. Then down via head high bracken on east side to Gore Quarry and other hills.dicky10/08/2013

Old Radnomore hill - and apparently not a play area.Martin R25/08/2011
The hill has been decimated by the quarry.JohnStoneham23/07/2011
ROW from W - overgrown. Then straight up to fence. Ground on other side bulldozed.chrisbien20/07/2011

May now be a subHuMP but still a nice short ascent on a misty Sunday morning from SW. My GPS only gave highest point left at 314 meters.Dugswell227/03/2011

Quarrying has reduced the height of this hill and moved the place of its highest point.arranc23/01/2011

I parked in the quarry car park at Gore and walked up from there. The footpath off the track/road is a bit concealed just before a house. The top is the highest point of the spoil.clivevilla12/02/2009
Unsatisfactory - assumed the remaining high point, that the quarry hasn't yet consumed, till qualifies as a HUMP. Accessed via footpath at SO 256 588.summitsup04/01/2009
