As gerrybowes. One of the better SE Devon Humps I climbed this day. Most are poor, boring, and/or no views. | Minto | 30/06/2022 |
As others, from small parking area on junction at ST 0103 0154, headed W. on track & then NNW across open woodland to the unmarked summit. (S) | gerrybowes | 14/06/2021 |
Fortunately the forestry works were suspended but they'd left behind massive piles of trimmings and plenty of mud. | Newton Maximus | 26/12/2020 |
With Claire. Parked in 2 space CP at highest point of road. Along gently rising broad track. No obvious high point among trees. | MickyRoss | 23/07/2020 |

Short walk from car park - not much to write home about... | twg27 | 05/05/2018 |
Short walk from tiny NT carpark at road junction, along muddy track, over low mud embankment, into open pines. Determined a HP by Abney level, but quite indistinct. Also visited nearby trig, hidden in hedge with geocache. | Denise | 23/10/2016 |
NT land. Open pine woods reached by muddy forest track from road junction with tiny car park. No views. | RichardM | 23/10/2016 |
From NT carpark a few 100m E. | rhalstead | 17/01/2016 |
Parked in NT car park on road, track to west. Summit in conifer plantation to north of track. | Poolton123 | 21/10/2015 |
2nd hill of three today on a circuit from Killerton park. From Sprydon beacon i took a bearing to get back onto the minor road running through Ashclyst forest, then took minor roads to get to White Down copse. A NT path runs through this wood but i took the right hand track that eventually meets another wide track and from there i headed North. The summit appears to be in the woods N of the track but a contender would be the banking for the field edge to the North. | Dazingdale | 07/09/2015 |
As jonglew. Summit somewhere among the conifers to the north of the very muddy track. | Herbert Anchovy | 04/03/2015 |
5/7 Short walk up from entrance to high point on path | Fergalh | 03/02/2015 |
