From the NT Car Park to the East. Managed to get the one table with heater as the heavens decided to open as we were about to set off. Had a lovely coffee and sausage roll whilst we waited for a break in the rain. Visited the fort and had a wander around the ramparts then visited the high point on the track.Jephcote8312/12/2023

Muddy stroll from the NT CP.Newton Maximus18/11/2022
Popped in off the motorway to walk the dog. Just did a few miles up from the NT car park but there was lots to see. As well as the hill there is the country's first reinforced concrete footbridge, an old fort to explore, a couple of fancy water towers, a plane crash memorial, and a compass marker in a fab Roman-looking structure right up on the hill with fantastic views for miles around. Very strong winds up here today as well as gloomy rain clouds against bright sun. Plan to come back for a picnic in better weather.MysteriousSue06/02/2022

From NT free carpark with kiosk and view, then walk to interesting Victorian fort- free entry. HP actually on fortifications but may not be natural; path may or not be natural. Continued to memorial to American WW2 plane crash. A pleasant break in journey from Eurotunnel to home.Denise 27/08/2021
From the NT car park with fine views S over the Weald. W over the bridge and wide tack to Reigate Fort - free entry. The NW corner of the mound around the fort was the most satisfying of the possible high points, though man-made. A lunch stop on the final leg of the 800 mile drive home from 3weeks in the Rhone Alps.RichardM27/08/2021
NT car park at TQ 2630 5235 (excellent viewpoint) - W. along RoW to high point of track. Worth continuing along track for another 100m to the memorial wing tips which mark the spot where a 'Flying Fortress' crashed, killing all 9 crew, in March 1945. (S)gerrybowes13/04/2021

After dropping a family member at Gatwick we parked up and crossed the bridge and up to the top and fort. Before the rain started.ChinnockC27/10/2018
On a tough 24 km 4.5 hr training run with L carrying full OMM pack as the big event is only 3 weeks away. Out and back from Godstone ( cat sitting for w/ e) largely along NDW to Reigate Hill, then steeply down south to Pilgrims Way to contour back to NDW in Nut Wood. Lovely sunny autumnal day. L stung by wasp that got caught on her glove, and ( we read later) inject acetylecoline, so the pain is felt more , and pheromones to summon other wasps to also attack / defend, and sure enough another rotter stung her on the ear, despite her carefully and very kindly in the circumstances releasing the first trapped wasp. We ran on very quickly.,and even quicker when we later came back the same way. Hill now known as Waspgate Hill.Chris Pearson07/10/2018

2hr circuit of 3 Tumps from Redhill station, involving a surprising amount of steep slopes, fine woodland, good paths and interesting bits of suburbia. Even a few views towards the S through various gaps in the trees.Mark Jackson15/08/2016

HuMP number 200. Parked in Gatton car park and short walk across footbridge over A217 along North Downs Way to spot height and beyond. As is often the case found something more interesting than the summit itself. Reigate Fort, part of the 19th century London Defence Scheme.mntainman03/03/2015
