Parked at Achnasaul, backing into the track down to the old derilict bridge. Straight to the 681m point.iangalbraith13/09/2023
With Rhona & Struie. Walking WH route (including Meall Coire nan Saobhaidh & Meall na h-Eilde) BUT a clockwise round and the walk begins from the bridge over the Allt Dubh near Achnasual on the Loch Arkaig road; there is plenty of space to park in the plantation around 500m (?) along the road to the east. No difficulties in going clockwise. There is an ATV track that goes almost to the top of Geal Charn – you can pick it up on the right bank of an unnamed burn at 165930, which comes down the SE shoulder of Geal Charn.DampandDusty02/09/2023
From Achnasaul- parked on the grass near the entrance to the fishery building. Up the hydro track alongside the Allt Dubh, before crossing the bealach and climbing steeply up to pt 681, then on to Meall na h-Eilde. Followed the fence posts over Meall Coire Nan Saobhaidh, and then Geal Charn. All pretty good going underfoot, wonderful views. Down the SE ridge, then followed the burn below the ATV track for a while, as it was rather churned up and boggy. 17km, 4h 50Rockdoctor08/04/2023
Parked at Eas Chia-aig for a circuit of Beinn Chraoibh, Carn Dubh, Meall Tarsuinn, Meall na h-Eilde West Top, Meall an Tagraidh and Torr a' Chronain.PGCE23/03/2023
With Sue from Achnesaul cycle 3km up the track along the Allt Dubh to a steepening part and walked into Gleann Tarsuinn and up SW shoulder of Meall na h-Eilde to summit and on to Meall Coire nan Saobhaidh, before heading down to the Bealach before climbing Geal Charn and Beinn Mheadoin returning down to the head of the burn to pick up the stalkers path down to bikes. Wet and windy given the heatwaave in England.Frank08/08/2022
Solo fr Loch Arkaig up by Allt Dubh, d 10.55am, path ok at first but later not very good, and steep ascent to here in hot sunshine, assailed horribly by clegs all the way up. On to h-Eilde summit, thankfully with fewer insects. Clear, with some good views (of the dull Loch Lochy hills, but some better ones further away!)NorfolkPT2120/07/2021
From main Corbett top on the way to the Graham.Owen B10/10/2019
From the Witches Pool, up the forestry track along the Gleann Cia-aig to Meall an t-Sagairt, across to Meall na h-Eilde and on to Meall Coire nan Saobhaidh, before doubling back to h-Eilde's west top and the big down and up to the fine ridge of Glas Bheinn. Got back on the forestry track by returning northwards to Coire na Cosaig, then eastwards to a dam over which it is possible to cross the Abhainn Chia-aig.summitter13/04/2019
