Carn nan Gobhar (992m), Sgurr na Lapaich (1150m), An Riabhachan (1130m), An Socach (1069m), and included Meall Bac a' Chul-dhoire (496m) on the return for the Loch views. Solo. 22 miles/13 hours, no boat, return via loch. Most summits just in cloud but some good views just below and some sun glimpses. Bit breezy. | meltdiceburg | 20/07/2022 |
#1 of 6 after boat ride with Angus from Mullardoch dam, fine old cairn for such an obscure peak. Returning NE, both burns are bridged but I boulder hopped both above 300m contour | RHW | 30/05/2021 |
Probably passed over here in 1978 but could not be sure. Ferry there and back. | chalky1953 | 29/04/2017 |
Up by boat from dam - weather mixed. MVW, BES. Made it up SE ridge to top of Socach, but gale force winds, then rain drove us back and walk out over this top and along loch shore. Streams in spate! | nordicstar | 28/03/1999 |
