From Braeside in hot, sticky conditions. Visited six high points....just to be sure.lordtonult07/07/2023
From Braeside parked near new metal bridge. Round farm buildings then steeply up slope. Various complex summit points similar heights visited.N.Morters05/05/2023
The scenic route from Gleann Beag. Parked at Dun Troddan, then took the hill track a few yards to the E to a house; a grassy track continues up the hill to a wooden bridge by some trees. Over the bridge, then right fork uphill, good at first then faint and very overgrown, seems to run out at a bushy tree, but go round the tree and it continues; diminishes to a a deer track over the shoulder of pt 276 to a sliding gate in the deer fence. Better ground after this, over the gap N of Creag a' Bhuairidh, then down to the pylons, then following good deer tracks along a fence to lovely Loch Beinn a' Chaonich, deer tracks onward to rejoin fence up a gully and onto the plateau. Trudged round all the tops in a gale. This approach shows the best side of the hill, impressively craggy, but obviously longer than other routes. Some rough ground but not appalling.Gill26/05/2022

From Scallasaig to NNW. Good parking by farm. Stile NG 8521 1991. Hard going over steep grass and complex hill - need GPS to determine correct summitcarole engel26/07/2020
From Braeside - inadvisable, nav is easy, but underfoot is AWFUL. There is no need to disturb the Braeside residents. Parking on wet ground 50m W of bridge, NG870196. Over bridge and immediate L on wide track to large green barn, at rear took steepest ATV track, up R, kept on same line over crest to hidden gate and onto open hillside. Ahead is 300m of steep (45 deg at times) and deep (chest high) tick infested horrendous tussock grass (some of the worst I have ever encountered) and reeds - on this 37th day of rain, I was soaked to the skin within a few metres. Crossed a faint ATV track high up, so there is maybe an easier way up than this. The top zone is no better, being very, very rough moorland - a choice between more deep tussock grass or horrible heather. Multiple tops of similar height. Find another way, it couldn't be any worse than this.Isbjorn19/06/2019

From Braeside. Pretty easy terrain and quickly up and down.jenx19/05/2016
Parked just over the bridge on way to Braeside farm. Asked there and said was ok. Directed around the left of farm and then a direct line to summit in an hour. Nice steep pastures, picking lines between the wet areas. Visited several possible summit inc the RHB top with small cairn. Back same way w Jenx before the rains came.nordicstar19/05/2016

From Scallasaig. I underestimated the scale of this one. Interesting though. Again, make your own route, I know I did and different way back. I like these hills that only attract a few baggers and hence are not scarred by wide trails.Martin R21/09/2014
From Braeside, easily up and downAndrewFinnimore24/06/2014
