Stalkers path from Coireshubh to ridge and doubled back to Sgurr Dubh(Gt) Then on to main ridge, past trig point , then East to true summit. Decent weather if a bit windy and also very wet underfoot after heavy rain previous day and overnight.dickscroop11/04/2024
Coireshubh to Sgurr nan Eugallt via WH route, descended steep W ridge to Bealach Mhinniceig, then on to Meall nan Eun. Descended rib to W of Coire Sgiath Airig, then down steep, tussocky and wooded slopes to W of burn. Poor choice, should have looked at the map more closely and stuck to the E side instead. Back along path to Kinlochhourn and up to the car. 17 km, 5h50, tough Knoydart milesRockdoctor07/03/2024
With John from minor road to Kinlochhourn. Parked up by the start of the trail to Shiel Bridge, walked back along road to just before the ruin and followed stalkers path up to as far as about 500m elevation. Headed across ridge, made a little more interesting with a good cover of snow, and ascended to the trig point on the corbett's East Top. From there headed NW across broad ridge to the true summit marked by a small cairn. Returned the same way. Alternating blue skies and low cloud made for some ocassional decent views. Total time 3h 53minmproudfoot03/03/2024
From the road by the stalkers path. A fine hill and a grand day. With NP, JK and MTkenmorti30/10/2023
Parked at space before the wee bridge at Coireshubh. Our four, J,K & M only people on the hill. Apart from very strong and cold wind it was a glorious day with views all round to Eigg, Skye and the Ben etc. True summit further west along ridge from trig though it’s not the one with the big cairn. 5.5 hrs inc stops. Cracking walk this one!niallp30/10/2023
From Coireshubh by the classic stalkers' path below Sgurr Dubh, and fainter trail to the bealach. Then up the fine NE ridge by the fence posts to the trig point top, and onwards NE for 500m to the true summit on a splendid traverse. Return by outward route. A stunning hill, especially for its position and views. With JK, KM and NP. 12.1km, with 1050m of ascent (in my case!).Man of Kernow130/10/2023

MC JC. Climbed on a windy and showery day from Coireshubh via a fine stalker's path. Hill running with water and stags roaring in Coire Shubh. No views on top although the mist cleared on the way down with fine rainbows.Martin6611/10/2009
