Parked at the end of the road at Kilfinnan at the North end of Loch Lochy. Followed forestry track SW, turned NW on the Cam Bealach path (signed), initially through woods, then within the opening valley alongside the Allt Glas Dhoire to the col. Followed path up Meall Dubh over grass and then a further path back to the SW col and a further grassy path south on the ridge of Teanga to cairn at end of levelish ridge. Raining and swirling cloud but surprisingly green slopes all around. Continued to Sron a Choire Garbh, all on grassy path, mainly in cloud. | Denise | 16/06/2022 |

Wild day on the tops with winds gusting 60mph+, windchill of approx. -19'C (MWIS info) Some great views in clearings but cloud generally approx 800m. With 6 friends. | Neily There | 09/02/2022 |
Solo round of Sròn a' Choire Ghaibh and Meall na Teanga from Kilfinnan. After a rather tense drive up the A82 - covered in a fresh layer of untouched snow - in particular from Crianlarich into to Rannoch Moor, I arrived at Kilfinnan for an early dawn start. Hoofing the 2.2mi walk along the road into the forest, things were going well until about 400m up on the path to the bealach. A low snowline saw a fairly fresh thin layer of powdery snow covering a lot of ice on the path - just enough to require a bit of care, but not really enough to justify crampons. Mostly misty up to around 500m, where the sky opened up. There was a bit of gusty wind but that only started being a nuisance above 700m on each peak, where the gusts would fire a blast of snow every 5-10 mins.

Did Sròn a' Choire Ghaibh first, lower zig-zags were icy, but above that it was easy going though my timing was not great, just as i hit the summit, a bank of cloud covered it. Tapped the summit and returned down to the | mproudfoot | 28/11/2021 |

Solo fr Kilfinnan, forest track then good path up to col, running mostly. Warm hazy sunshine becoming hot later, but I was only out 5h. Fierce S wind. A bit concerned about sunburn on long descent but there was partial shade for last 3km on track parallel to Loch Lochy. | NorfolkPT21 | 31/05/2021 |

Started at Kilfinnan. 2 miles along the forest track and then up to the bealach along the path. Up to Sron a Choire Ghairbh along the zig zaggy stalkers path to Meall na Teanga where the views were 360 degrees and absolutely awesome. Back down to the bealach and up to Meall na Teanga which seemed a harder climb, again the views were good, including Loch Linhe and Loch Ness. Back down the same way. Saw one other person (twice) he was going down from each top as I was going up. | tsharp | 06/05/2019 |
From Kilfinnan: The woods sheltered me from the heavy rain but once out in the open up to the col I was soaked. Up and down Teanga, then up and down Sron a Choire Ghairbh. | jigglybones | 20/02/2019 |

Good visibility. There was a band of snow on the NE ridge with cornices higher up. Many people had crossed this just below the cornices but the snow is becoming unstable. Took the longer and lower crossing on the way down. | rurquhart | 30/04/2018 |
Ascended from Kilfinnan - lots of snow above 500m - the north facing corrie between Meall Dubh and Meall na Teanga poorly consolidated windslab - routefinding tricky - fine but steep once on the NW ridge - seriously windy on the summit - progress difficult - descended and continued to Sron a'Choire Ghairbh | wychwood | 06/04/2018 |

From Kilfinnan. We had to go around a patch of snow up steep compressed grass to reach the summit. Strangely windless at the top, despite the cold NW wind all the way from the head of the valley. | mindlessflogger | 26/05/2015 |
