First really decent hill since The Knowe at Workington this morning. Not that I didn't enjoy pootling round west Cumbria but this is a proper hill.Wycombe Wanderer21/04/2019
farmer in new house took break from his lunch to point out suitable parking and route to summit between barns.cjo10/03/2019

Easy from road to westColin Crawford09/08/2016
All sorts of 'anti' notices at lane to quarry to W so used Nordicstar's direct approach. Highlight wasn't the summit but the remarkable metal stile with mechanical dog-flap at top of wood - Martin R's 'gizmo'.Aye Jimmy25/10/2015

From parking spot at NY466469. Line of fence then wall. Suprisingly steep at top through wood/undergrowth. Suddenly on top and trig. High point nearby. Back down mast track through farm and road, short distance back to car.nordicstar06/07/2012
What kind of fool collects sub-HuMPs - especially when there are gale force winds? Not me - I was just looking for interesting stile near summit with gizmo for letting dogs through.Started at NY46248 47280 with a choice of paths.Martin R04/01/2012
Up fields from lane along forest edge keeping a wary eye out for farmer.Chris Pearson21/04/2005
