| With a friend. Traverse of the Cuillin ridge from Sgùrr Thuilm to Bruach na Frithe. From the main summit of Sgùrr a' Mhadaidh we headed towards the next top of Mhadaidh, crossing a slightly awkward slab where the ridge turns the corner. We wondered if it was easier to keep to the crest here. Climb of the top goes round to the right. We climbed the next top where the rope was used at one point on the ascent. | The Main Cuillin Ridge from Gars-bheinn to Sgurr nan Gillean in 1 day. With Robin Howie. We left Glen Brittle Camp Site at 03:30. After Sgurr a’ Ghreadaidh we went over the four tops of Sgurr a’ Mhadaidh; we were getting tired, so we were careful over the tops of Mhadaidh which were done unroped.
