From Peaton hill car park. Nice track underfoot for a wet winters day walking.colazione05/02/2022
Parked at the Peaton Hill nature reserve and walked along forestry track. Highest point may be on top of quarry or just over the fence - not sure. Good views at times to both sea lochs. Carried on to Clach MacKenny.sclater18/12/2019
From the north (NS 2255 8676), room for 2 or 3 cars. Good track all the way. Went on to Clach MacKenny on same track then made mistake of spicing it up by returning to Airlig on a direct route following wall - some very, very wet ground resulting in very, very wet feet!jonglew21/08/2019
With Clach MacKenny. Great walk and views.hillsman20/03/2018
from track to the north, track icy today.robertphillips22/01/2018
Picnic area on top - very pleasant ascent from Peaton Hill Nature Reserve car park at NS224867. Onto Clach MacKenny via forest tracksajwxyzt18/12/2017
From Clach MacKenny via moorland which is as wet as previous people have stated, though there is a very faint 4wd track for the last 600m to the summit which is a good viewpoint. Whole forest is being felled. Back to Rosneath via the good forest roadThearlaichdubh05/04/2017
New track passes very close to summit.chalky195320/08/2015
P at start of track to N. Rim of quarry is highest point. Then track to Clach MacKenny and back same way.chrisbien25/11/2014
First of four ascents, this time following Cnoc na-h Airighe. Apparently brought home a tick which ended up in one year old son's arm. Best combined with Clach MacKenny in winter conditions.campagvelocet13/08/2009
