From Cluanie Inn (NH078117). ATV tk up W side of Allt a Chaorainn Bhig to Bealach a Choinich, then FP up S ridge. Pt 877 bypass FP was steep hard neve. Easy ground to false summit. Dip, then final ridge was steep snow arête, with rocks, moderate exposure. Safer to go over pt.877 on return.Isbjorn 3rd Round06/01/2024

With Jeff. Headed up the side of the hills left of the path on steep ground then onto the col. Weather deteriorated, wind and rain, very gusty at times when exposed. Back down using path, had to strike off right across stream to regain track.Cumbrianexile31/10/2021

Approach from Cluanie Inn along the glen alongside Am Bathach. Up onto An Cnapach into deep snow and along the ridge to CD summit. Excellent morning!Matt290123/12/2020
From the layby on A87, ascended steeply up to Am Bathach, along grassy ridge and then dropped down into Bealach a' Choinich. Boggy ascent up to An Cnapach and then on grassy ridge with some narrower sections to Ciste Dhubh. Descended back to bealach, then down glen on rough path. Amazing conditions, with no wind and cloud inversion obscuring the bottoms of the glens. 12.8km.PiranhaFish07/11/2020
2nd ascent, on its own this time, from near Cluanie. Boggy path up the glen and very boggy and eroded on the initial climb, but v nice ridge walk afterwards. Beautiful day with excellent views of the Kintail and Affric hills. Many parked cars and met several groups, Munros are popular these days.douglas_easton26/09/2020

Parked opposite the Clunie inn. Still undecided if the left or right hand banks are best for approach. Final climb to top has a narrow path on edge of ridge to wake you up a bit. Descent was by the Corbett.Jhimmy17/07/2012
