What a great viewpoint, cloud just perched on summit of Beinn Bhan but who cares. Fantastic corries. Walked around the summit taking in the views before the cloud finally came. Snow flurries on return to car. Great peak. Company: Soloiandesbottes13/01/2024

Sgurr a' Chaorachain and Beinn Bhan from 200m elevation on the Bealach na Ba road, with John. Tough steep ascent up Sgurr a' Chaorachain through bands of crags, before reaching the summit. Headed clockwise around to the big mast/antennae array, then descended down the rocky terrain towards Carn Dearg before dropping into Bealach nan Arr and then the final ascent up to Beinn Bhan. Descent back down SSE to the road, then a 1-mile/100m reascent up the road back to the car. Tough day due to the terrain, but glad to get these done. 6h 17min total time.mproudfoot01/04/2023

Parked opposite the track to the mast. Stony road up to the masts and the cairn on the North Top (773m). Splendid ridge walk out to the summit cairn (792m). Skirted under the N Top on the way back. Solo.Dangerous Dave24/09/2022

1st day of an OMC camling meet at Applecross with Andy Whitehead and Simon Walsh. Starting at the Bealach na Ba car park around 09:45, we headed up the track to the Transmitter, North Top, then south and east to the main summit. Returning the same way. Thick mist to begin with then some breaks between the two summits and heavy rain once back at the Transmitter, returning to the car for 16:00chillyman821/08/2021

With Malky C and Jackie, from road to south near Kishorn yard. Into coire to east, up steep ridge, to radio mast and back down ridge to S. No rain, warmish but chilly wind, sunny at end. Rounsfell08/04/2019
as prelude to RBS HWC weekend in Torridon. I drove up from Edinburgh on the Thursday evening, stopping for a fish tea in Aviemore. The weather forecast for Friday differed significantly between XC, MWIS and BBC with MWIS predicting weather armageddon of wind strong enough to hinder walking, heavy showers all day with possibility of sleet and thunder! It rained heavily at breakfast time. I opted to drive round the coastal route to Applecross and either climb this Corbett from the top of the Bealach na ba or have lunch in the Applecross Inn. I stopped for coffee in the Applecross Inn before drive up to the head of the pass. I passed a SUV and trailer with a 6 wheel all-terrain vehicle that suggested there was a stalking party around. After I had changed into my walking gear at the top of the pass the SUV drove into the car park. I spoke to the stalker asking it was ok to walk up to the mast and on out to the Corbett. He said his party were on Carn Dearg and that I was welcome to the Corblangskill24/08/2018

From Bealach na Ba parking. Up track to mast, then along the interesting ridge. Took a more direct line on the return bypassing the mast. 700th Marilyn.Owen B11/07/2018
Bright sunny morning, the mountains on the Applecross peninsula have at last appeared. We head out early to beat the crowds! parking at viewpoint on the Applecross Road. This hill has been on my to do list from the start of the holiday. Track to mast (still pockets of snow about). Then we follow ridge path (well trod) to summit 792m. Good views. Courting Tarmigans give quite a display, not bothered about us minds on other things I think. On our return we divert crossing road at hairpin the ascending Meall Gorm 710m to bag hill and trig. Weave through lochens to return to car.briandavies28/04/2018
