With K during Covid-19 lockdown as daily excercise. A rough track departs the road around 171404 south of the rock cutting. This leads to a gate in the deer fence at 170405 which appears to be the only access to the entire peninsula. The mapped historic Cairn is not worth diverting for. A bolt or pin has been concreted into the summit and there are letters in the concrete. Did not remove moss to read. The saplings noted by RHW have all dissappeared. The holes dug to plant them pockmark the peat. | Ashley | 16/05/2020 |
