nostalgic return to Achmelvich bay, last visited as a 15 year old. It was our last family holiday before leaving Aberdeen. the SYHA has survived all the cuts. this on second. Glad my phone was playing up.. better way to spend the day than Queens funeral, even if I had wanted to watch any of it, which I didn'tvegibagger19/09/2022

Parked up in the car park near the YHA and walked across the Achmelvich Bay beach to the campsite. Next to the campsite loo block there is a gate through the fence line. Beautiful day and the bay was fantastic with white sandy beaches and pale blue water. The views from the top were pretty interesting. Ticked off An Fharaid Bheag just before this as well.Cap_Thunderbolt19/07/2019
