Bike to forest east of Kernsary then good paths to Bealach. Still, sunny day giving fine views to Fisherfield and Torridon. Return over Meall Mheinnidh. A good day out! Shower during bike ride back! | MichaelF | 19/05/2017 |
Took the boat across from the Loch Maree Hotel with Mark, Anne, Ralph the Collie and Dad. The first of 3 hills reached by the stalkers path from Letterewe House to the Bealach Mheinnidh and up easy slopes from there. Fine views to Fisherfield and Torridon. | bowlesy | 17/05/2017 |
Took an unusual route for Beinn Lair, Meall Mheinnidh and Beinn Airigh Charr. We arranged to meet Eoghan Maclean at the Loch Maree Hotel and he took us by boat to Letterewe. This took around half an hour and he dropped us off near the stalkers track leading to Beinn Lair, after this was climbed we went on to the Graham Meall Mheinnidh and then took a steep descent down quite rough terrain before heading up Beinn Airigh Charr. We took the ridge back towards Loch Maree before dropping down to pick up the track which took us back to our start track and the shore. We stopped on Isla Maree on our return which was a bonus. With Anne, Chris and Mark. A memorable trip. | Peterb | 17/05/2017 |

W Jenx after long walk in on calm cloudy day from Poolewe. Dropped sacs near Loch and scaled Ben Lair via sub top to large cairn. Bagged Graham before back to sacs and Carnmore barn for three nights. Big storm overnight to Sunday! Glad of solid roof! | nordicstar | 21/09/2013 |

Ascended from Carnmore after descent from Beinn a' Chaisgein Mor. Continued east to wild camp west of Meall Fhuaran | davidpettit84 | 04/06/2011 |
MC JC. Kayaked across Loch Maree for an overnight stay. Reasonably choppy. Climbed path behind Letterewe House to bealach. Dropped sacks and climbed Beinn Lair. Very hot and sultry. 5 ponies on top. Returned to packs and descended to Fionn Loch where we camped on the beach at the end of the loch. Beautiful views. Wind dropped. Midge hell. In bed by 8.30pm. Arose early on following morning and trook leisurely stroll to summit of Beinn a'Chaisgein Mor. Fantastic VP. Reeturned, packed tent and exited by route in. Climbed the Graham Meall Mheinnich on way out. Paddled back across a very rough L. Maree. Great trip. | Martin66 | 14/08/2010 |

Walk-in from Poolewe, camping. Via Bealach Mheinnidh, easy slopes and spectacular views down gullies to NE. Large cairn, quartz topping. Missed doing Meall Mheinnidh on return: been kicking myself ever since! | Aye Jimmy | 31/05/2006 |

From Poolewe to Kernsary, into wood and vile slimy ooze to river bank and 1 1/2m through hags and junction of paths. Raven. Under cliffs and on zig zag between the hills to get view of freshly painted Carnmore bothy (new Dutch owner) in white and green. To junction and to bealach and trudge over dried grass to edge of escarpment onto stony dome for 3/4m to top at 15.15. Ptarmigan. Massive views. At car 20m, 10 hrs. | arranc | 27/05/1996 |
Second day of two day expedition from Poolewe to Incheril. With Rhona Fraser and George Gilpin. From Bealach Mhèinnidh we ascended Beinn Lair. We passed over Sgurr Dubh and to the west of two lochans and the next top, to avoid a steep and craggy descent, We found a good contouring line north of Loch Garbhaig and west of Meall Daimh to climb steeply, but easily to the summit ridge of Slioch. | pwbellarby | 07/08/1994 |
