Logged Descriptions  (logged by 16 users)ByDate of Ascent
From nearest point on the road, 700m each way over rough moorland.jonglew14/09/2022
3/3 Parked bike at col of the road, then walked down to the Causeway, crossed and slogged up to the top of Carn Loch Fada and worked our way over to Meall Eatharna which is at the mouth of the estuary, all very tiring work but at least dry shod. Then a more pleasant stroll back by the shore past the cottage which inspired the Katie Morag Books, and back over causeway, then found the energy to do this last hill at Carnan Mora which was again fairly sapping on the legs. Last hill of the holiday and only one got away (Cnocan na Ban). So we will have to come back and it will be a pleasure.nickywood123/04/2022
Carried on from our walk out to Carn Loch Fada and Meall Eatharna, crossing the road and over rough grass and heather to the summit. Took the shortest route back to the road.LizH24/08/2019
Easy bogtrot from east after cafe raid in Arinagour. Made way back to base near A’ Chnoc via a few beaches on the north coast.fasgadh31/07/2019
Boggy, heathery approach from road to east- layby. Small cairn. Pale pink orchids in flower.Denise 13/05/2019
On clockwise circuit of W Coll by foot. Best access is to follow a burn to E about 400m N of white house. Wind and rain.Thearlaichdubh02/09/2018
After Cnocan na Ban. Up from gate in fence immediately south of Loch Cliad. Warm sun and stiff breeze. Descent east with occasional hints of paths to B8071, then to Arinagour for much-needed cold drink before the ferry.mainnirnamfiadh11/05/2016
