From Achnasheen. Warm and sunny. Light breeze on top. Best of my 3 visits. Very good views. With Karen and Sam.ChrisR18/06/2023
Parked by Achnasheen station. Good path up the munro. Dropped a nav pin at the dam where the path leaves the burn for the return. Circuit of Fionn Bheinn and Meall a Chaorainn across the watershed/peat bog. Glad to see some evidence of peat bog restoration with wood and earth dams to reduce drainage. Hot morning but great views over towards the Fannichs. Solorichard6905/06/2023

Straight-forward ascent from Achnasheen. Path is defined all the way to the summit. Bit bogging in places. Windy and cold today - seasons changing. Good views. All done in less than 4 hours but pleasantwychwood20/09/2022
With Tom, Will, Ewan, James, Carmel, & Theo. From Ledgowan Lodge Hotel bunkhouse in Achnasheen. Bit of a boggy slog along river, but summit was lovely despite being in a cloud.millionmts29/08/2022

With JAS as far as Fionn Bheinn.kdbennett24/08/2020
Solo fr Achnasheen, running where possible. First part of clear path was very wet and hillside continued wet for acre after acre, but ascent is straightforward. Lots of sheep on the summit, which had great views, cloud more broken than yesterday, no wind. d car 7am, back 10am, which I love!NorfolkPT2124/08/2020

Climbed with Baz C. Started at car park in Achnasheen. Warm day, plenty of sunshine. Much colder at top. Snow still lying on North face. Nice views all round.187lenny29/04/2018
A week of new experiences with Jon Glew. Earlier in the week on Maol Chean-dearg we learned what could be achieved in what was described as full on winter conditions. Today we learned what we could not achieve and more importantly recognising our limits 1.4km from summit of Fionn Bheinn. Visibilty down to 2m for lead person (5m behind) 30 - 40 mph wind, snow and spindrift straight in our faces and unable to determine what was up or down. Unable to navigate safely or reliably we jointly more or less at the same time decided to turn round and head back. Another great day on the hill but mixed feelings about ending a day without any ticks.mntainman15/02/2018

Fionn Bheinn on holiday. Parking in Achnasheen. Clockwise route heading up a path next to Allt Achadh na Sine before breaking off north to climb fairly easily to the summit. Headed eastwards along the ridge, to catch a path heading towards the Achnasheen plantation, where a track is gained that heads straight through the middle. Then a short walk westwards along the road.DampandDusty07/07/2017
