By the standard route south-east from Inverlael up Gleann na Sguaib, then path east to Lochan a' Chnapaich and steep slope north-east to the summit. Returned the same way. Solo.marktrengove27/10/2017

4th and last munro of the day. Although the smallest it was the hardest to summit. 2nd cairn was highest point and the wind was very powerful as we rounded the summit and began the very long walk out to the car at Inverlael. Done with M and S.dave neilson14/10/2017

MMC weekend in Inverlael. Bein Dearg 4 with Robert Wight, Eunice Coop, John Berry and Jeremy Idle. Lovely sunny blue sky day with cloud inversion to west. Microspikes. on mixed neve snow and rock.alexmaclennan14/03/2015
Fourth day of five-day trip with DW & SL. Staying in Aultguish. Linda joined us for this day too, but did not do all four peaks with us. Classic Beinn Dearg horseshoe from Inverlael. This was an easier day than expected. The ascent to the ~850m col is very gentle, making it very easy. Good weather, with a haze 'inversion'. Descent from Eididh nan Clach Geala.AGWilliamson22/09/2014
Solo, 1st of 4. A cracker of a day other than the van not fitting in the carpark and having to drive up the road and cycle back...up to the fence that the 'walk' starts. Excellent path until having to break N to get on ridge. 2hr15 from gate.bowzi29/09/2013

Camped in Glen Sguaib and walked up early on - pretty nasty weather - got bombarded with hailstones most of the way up but it was a nice easy ascent otherwise - easy to find the summit and easy terrain - just a shame there was no view!Loz_mck22/03/2009
Glasgow and Lancaster weekend. Ascended with Hugh in thick soft snow. After this bought my snowshoesalexmaclennan06/02/2009
Did this on a birthday weekend. Stayed at Braemore Aquare with Trish and Alan. Weather had been awful so did a round of teashops round Loch Carron. They went home and I stayed on. Did this hill very windy. Got a lift to Aultguish Inn. Stayed in the bunkhouse. Awful place. Better now.munromurph28/08/2008
