Am Faochagach and tops from Strath Vaich. Followed estate road to Strathvaich Lodge and climbed W to reach ridge. Detour to climb Meall an Torcain then back and climbed Meall Coire nan Laogh, Tom Ban Mor, Sron Liath, Am Faochagach and Carn Gorm-loch. Returned, bypassing summit of Am Faochagach and descent via summit of Meall Gorm and Glas Toll Mor, contouring to reach track down to Strathvaich Lodge. Mainly good visibility, strong breeze.RobertP09/06/2022

First day of a multi day round with the bivi bag. Biked from Black bridge leaving bike at last bridge before road high point. A steep but uncomplicated climb straight up Meall a Chaorainn, round to Meall a Chuaille, on to Carn Gorm-loch and down to bivi near bealach before Cnap Coire Loch Tuath. All staightforward going.dickscroop20/07/2021

Second big hill on a 4 day walking tour- between Am Faochaig and Glenbeg bothy. Counter-intuitively arguably, adding this sMa gave a very good route- enjoyable, good terrain, fairly easy route finding off if the weather had been poor. We had a fine afternoon though. Just one steep section down to Glenn Beag then a lovely valley to end a good first day. With brother, Petepwheeler25/05/2004
