Cycled in from road end at Glen Calvie. Left bike at high point on track just before it drops down to the two holiday lodges then up ATV track to top of peat hag capped Leitir Riabhach. Followed the line of deer fence down to southern end of outflow from Loch An Tuill Riabhaich avoiding worst of the peat hags. Then up the SE nose and final steep but easy ascent to summit.Jossker30/09/2023

From the Glen Calvie car park, tracks to Alladale Lodge and cottages before ascent via Carn Alladale and then along ridge to summit. Gate in deer fence is now free of any padlocks! Descent by open slopes over Leathad nan Con Dearga to good track below the waterfall.benalder28402/04/2022

As per the SMC Grahams book. From the Glen Calvie car park along the track to past the 1st holiday cottage (cross the river) then turn right up an ATV track just past the generator building. ATV track takes nicely up onto ridge at which point it disappeared. Up onto Carn Alladale summit then followed ridge all the way around to the summit. Various ups and downs, crossed the deer fence by climbing the gate. Sign is still there to say lock number is 1111 but it is still rusted and impossible to open. From the summit descended back to the right of the small loch then down over Leathad nan Con Dearga to meet the good track at the bottom below the waterfall. Back along the track. 13.5 miles 22km, Strava said 5hrs 41 moving time but was out for just under 7hrs in total. Nice walk.JulieB13/08/2021

Cycled from the road end car park past Alladale Lodge then west, then north along estate track to NH385911 (approx 9.5km). Walked in north-easterly direction to summit. Eagles soaring, and ptarmigan on snowy ground. Back via south top.willyross01/04/2021

A lovely walk from Glencalvie Lodge. Alladale is simply stunning, beautiful native trees, and glorious hills above. Easily up the ATV track from the generator building but less easy once it peters out. Watch out for tree planting holes. Carn Alladale has good views but rough going, wobbly rocks and manky vegetables. Deer fence at the bealach to the NW has a gate with the number for the padlock but the padlock is rusted shut, so climb the gate. Nice easy going to Carn a' Choin Deirg S Top and onwards to the main summit. The views are just wow. Down via Easan Dubh is rough lower down. The mapped path is an estate road. The estate was very helpful when I emailed them about deer stalking so they get a big thumbs up.Gill23/09/2020
All the (sub)Simms from Carn Alladale, then back down the execrably rough valley of the Allt Riabhach.Jon F13/08/2020

Recognized parking is at NH 4644 8913, but eventually parked 7km along the track at NH 4031 89420 after deep snow prevented further driving. Progressed to track end then near enough direct route to the top. On to the South Top. With Carole Engel.jonglew02/04/2018
