After A’ Chruach. Over rough grass, more or less in a straight line towards CCL top, then leftwards up on to north ridge and southwards to summit. Sunny, light wind. View more extensive than on A’ Chruach: Jura and Garvellachs faint, Mull clearer, hazy panorama of Ballachulish, Glencoe, and Black Mount hills, Ben Cruachan, Beinn Laoigh, and much more. Down northwards as far as new fence, down leftwards by fence to flattish area, then roughly south-westwards to Corry Lorn. Last stretch awkward descent through bracken, otherwise whole day mostly bracken-free. Minor road to Blàran and A816 for bus to Oban. | mainnirnamfiadh | 24/08/2020 |
2nd of 15 tops on a 28.8km circular from the A816 at Blaran, climbing A' Chruach then SE across open terrain to record 367m @ NM 87846 18466 on a grassed over rock. This area has a nice 'out there' feel. Onwards to Carn Dearg... | Dazingdale | 15/05/2019 |
