From just north of Gualin House. Fairly direct line over moorland to summit. Easy going after initial tussocks. Sunny fine views and strong easterly wind made the return less fun. Final section 16 Marilyn.N.Morters04/05/2023
From parking at the postbox in Badcall. Followed the peat track then direct to the summit in the NE. Headed SE to the Tump.bolton26/03/2023
Followed the peat road from Badcall. Visited both 358m summits on the way. Fabulous views. With CJM & bolton.Dangerous Dave26/03/2023
From bridge just beyond Gualin House. Left hand side of burn, almost a straight line avoiding the worst of the bogs.iangalbraith25/03/2023
Parked in the large layby by the post box in Badcall. Up the peat track to where it crosses the river (then it disappeared), crossed the river and headed in a fairly direct line towards the summit, once on the ridge visited the cairn on the south western top first to get the good views off the edge, then headed to the summit top, then over Meall Meadhonach, then a fairly direct line down the left hand side of the stream to rejoin the peat road. 6.2miles 2.75hrs walking time. Spectacular views in all directions.JulieB23/06/2022

Up the Badcall peat road then a sometimes wet trudge to the top before bagging the two Tumps to the East.NormanW10/07/2020
From Badcall, up the farm track initially then across the moorland. A really delightful walk in and superb views of Foinaven, The Arkle and Ben Stack.Peterb10/05/2019
An enjoyable and beautiful walk from Badcall. Parked by the postbox next to London Stores, then walked up the track. Crossed the river, and across the bog (dry, easy) to pick up a sort of ridge leading to the base of the hill. Up steep grass by a vague gully to the sandstone plateau and headed past the 258m tops to the dip and up to the rocky summit, a fine viewpoint. On return, climbed to the cairn on the 258m top.Gill21/04/2019

Across to here from Farmheall. Then back to the bridge. Not a bad walk round. Nice sandstone details here and ther on higher ground.jenx17/06/2016
After Farrmheall cut down to broad bealach to An Socach. Dry conditions suited a crossing to gain a line out to An Socach. Easy going. Back over the Tumps to bridge.nordicstar17/06/2016

Parked in Badcall village. Along road to a track leading up around the first set of Cruachs for about a mile to its end in a peaty boggy area. Followed stream on my left across uneven wet moor for 3/4 mile then crossed stream to gain height into an area of grey crags. GPS told me that the top was beyond the now visible horizon involving a 600' climb up grassy crags, avoiding swampy bits and peat hags. Onto level plateau area with sandstone conglomerates and tundra like areas to pass beyond a large cairn, visible from the valley. More loss of height, around and to top at 13.50. Midges at work. A few stones on top of highest crag made up the cairn.arranc02/08/2008
