SE-NW traverse along ridge catalysed by Ursula Stubbings HuMPs quest.
Horrible descent of this final top 400m of mossy boulder slope that required, very slow gingerly careful way down to the 500m col then easier though getting dusky. Good hour and a bit in the dark back lower slopes and what felt like interminable track to where cat was parked a mile along the track | vegibagger | 15/09/2022 |
Cycle from Gualin House. Left bike 7km in. Walk over Cnov Mhadaidh on way to Ganu Mor. | John Lee | 08/09/2021 |
Cycled from Gualin down to Glen Dionard then as far as Coire Duail, then round of Ganu Mor and Ceann Garbh | Topographer57 | 23/07/2021 |
From tent well up Strath Dionard, continued up valley then headed up to Cadha na Beucaich, some awkward scree but then a good line between top edge of scree and the rockface Then north on
a good ridge over A Cheir Ghorm, Ganu Mor and on to Ceann Garbh and down NE ridge - returning to previous col would have been better. A long day due in the main to working a way up the scree to Cadha na Beucaich. | dickscroop | 15/08/2020 |

last of the Foinavon tops. | justin999 | 28/06/2018 |
From just north of Gualin House. Due south across wet ground. Found a steep, rough rake to the shoulder of the NW ridge. Then a straightforward bouldery plod in the mist. Returned from Foinaven main summit, then NE to the 500m contour, then bag across the wet stuff. | Owen B | 24/09/2017 |
From just N of Gualin House, accessing hills via Strath Dionard track. Excellent slabs climbing Cnoc a'Mhadaidh, then steeply to Ceann Garbh, andf ridge to Ganu Mor and A'Cheir Ghorm, returning along the ridge (cloud covered as ascended, but partial clearance at one stage providing fantastic views). Descended by same route except bypassed Cnoc a'Mhadaidh to SE. | RobertP | 07/07/2017 |
