Completion Tump on Seil. Missed being the first to log the completion by less than a week, but not surprised how few have announced it – see logs for Rubha Breac! Up Ardencaple road and through gate on right after Oban Seil Croft, then the track to its highest point. Don’t be tempted by the stile there: head south on the rough track and round to the right before heading up to the top, thus avoiding the fence and its new barbed wire altogether. Rather a tame finale to Seil after the jungle of Rubha Breac and the drama of Dùn Mòr, but a pleasant stroll on a sunny afternoon, and the sight of the twin summits of Cruachan to the north-east was a nice touch. Down the same way to the B844 to await the bus back to Oban. | mainnirnamfiadh | 05/09/2015 |
