A nice walk in the snow, along the footpath starting above Smoo cave (space for one car) then ATV tracks to the summit. A bit boggy, but the snow made it easy. Fine views from the top, and splendid sea views from the path. Hailstones the size of petit pois on the way back.Gill27/12/2017

Parked 1/2 mile before Smoo caves. On road to follow a tarred road for 1/2 mile, through gate onto a bridal track heading for Loch Meadaidh. Access track continued from junction for another 1 1/2 miles to bealach on visible horizon. Mist to 800'. Crossed 2 streams on boulders to top of track, onto moor into mist on compass with GPS to a large cairn at N end of ridge and to top at 11.10. No view - mist.arranc04/08/2008
