Hill 7 of 7 on a clockwise circuit. | Minto | 09/04/2022 |
From Colonsay House on a round of the hills on Colonsay's NE end. Beinn Eoin -> Beinn Bheag -> Meall na Monadh -> Dun Crom -> Cnoc na Faire -> Pairc Gharbh first then across to here. On to Cnoc Callanta. Also picked up the MacPhies and a trig bolt (searched for but not found) at Leac Bhuidhe on an 11 mile round with Andrew P. | jonglew | 10/09/2021 |

Day 2 of Macfies round with Rob. The Northern Macfoes terrain seemed easier than on Day 1, so this was faster than we expected. | alexmaclennan | 30/08/2020 |

From the CP above the SW end of Kiloran Bay to the road bend, across fields S of the watercourse (not the best route), up the obvious gully and right to Pairc Gharbh. Then cross-country through a miniature wood to Beinn nan Fitheach, and back on the N side of the watercourse (much easier). | Nick Down1 | 21/04/2019 |
After Pairc Gharbh. Initially tending west of bealach, then aiming for east ridge — which proved to have a lot of small trees, making progress slow. Completion Tump on Colonsay, but a bit of an anti-climax — still dry, but low cloud now keeping visibility below about 200 metres, except directly downhill to sea and Eilean Olmsa. Down initially south-westwards to avoid sheer drop at west end of summit ridge, south-eastwards from Blàr na Baintighearna, then south-westwards following line of wall to reach old road at gate about 398961. Very boggy. Road back to Scalasaig. | mainnirnamfiadh | 26/09/2018 |
After Pairc Gharbh, not the easiest of links, with some deep vegetation in the col and heather/scrub on the short ridge to the top. Easier descent to the road | Colin Crawford | 28/07/2018 |
8th tump of 9 on a 19.8km Northerly loop visiting all Macphies and tumps en-route, starting with Beinn an Sgoltaire, Beinn Inebri (not a Tump) Carnan Eoin, Beinn Bheag, Meall na Monadh, over Dun Meadhonach to Dun Crom, then a traverse over the lovely wild Northern bay, before climbing over Cnoc Corr, Cnoc Charragh, passing a standing stone, Cnoc na Faire and then West over Bheinn Bhreac, South over Maol Buidhe, Dun Dubh, Cnoc Mor Carraig nan Darrach, Pairc Gharbh and finally South to this top. I recorded the highest point at 109m @ NR 40753 96645. Continuing Wsw to Cnoc Callanta.... | Dazingdale | 09/05/2018 |
