Parked by the B871 just south of the track. Up the track to just past the Garvault track, then pathless but good going to the summit.Owen B23/09/2023
1km walk on anglers track on west side of hill. From just before first high point of track we found a semblance of footpath which essentially went all the way to the top. Nice sheltered enclosure beside large cairn. Ben Griam Beg looks a fair hike from here.willyross02/08/2023
Anglers track for 1km then a direct line - easier than I was expecting.Chris Peart27/04/2023
Parked in the parking area just south of the track. Followed the route in the Hugh's book. Up the track for about 1km, then cut up to the ridge using various animal and bits of ATV tracks, easily up to the summit (1hr 5 from the car). Off the back ridge, hit a rocky bit, went right and then took a fairly steep ascent down maybe should have gone left, Hugh's book doesn't mention this steep rocky bit). Pretty much direct line across and up Ben Griam Beg. Off the back ridge then across dry bog ( not sure I'd like to do this in the wet) to beach at top corner of Loch Druim a Chilabhain, along Northern side of loch then took direct line to Loch Coire Nan Mang, around to boathouse and then track back to start. 10 miles, out for 6hrs 45m (including a short lunch but not much more stopping, but I'm slow downhill over rough stuff) think if I did it again I wouldnt return the same way as it could be very boggy, I'd do what the old Corbetts book did and come down from BGB the ascent route and JulieB27/06/2022

Good weather from the hotel.bolton11/05/2009
Parked in small quarry on narrow B871 road. Using SMC guide, along a straight track rising up hillside to a fishing hut at Loch Coire Nam Mang. Straight off onto open moor at top of first rise. Some sandstone runs as the heather reduced to lawn like levels. Leaving crags well to the left to top at 11.25. Large 8' well made cairn with wind breaks built in, suitable for today's N wind. to Griam Beg.arranc19/06/2008
