5th top of 9 on the second day of three boat trips I organised with Farsain Cruises out of Craobh Haven, having landed at Sgeir nan Gabhar on the Southern tip of the Westerm arm on Lunga before climbing Garbh Cheatramh, Bidein na h-lolaire to head North for the tidal traverse over Fiola an Droma and Eilean Losal, then over Fiola Mheadhonach and Rubha Fiola to be picked up from another Sgeir nan Gabhar (love the co-incidence) at the Northern-most extremity of Lunga. We were dropped off at NM71234 07872, there followed a tricky traverse through saturated and dense willow and scattering several groups of Red Deer in the process, eventually arriving at the summit, recording 63m @ NM 71210 07354, continuing a few metres to appreciate the great views of the wooded cliffs of Meall nan Caorach and South over to Scarba. We returned in drizzly conditions to the boat for the final grand island of Scarba, landing at the jetty near Poll na h-Elaidh and the track to Kilmory Lodge....Dazingdale15/05/2018
