From NNW, NJ 0552 1985, good parking, nice view of crested tit, rough heather ascent, several fences, none electrified now, nice open pinewood summit. A bit fiddly from this side but saved some drivingRHW02/10/2023
From the 327 point at Laintachan. Along the track, then through a gate on the left, well before Lainchoil, and up. An electric fence then blocks the way but we followed the fence left until there was a gate. No fences climbed.Pete R08/10/2022

3 of 3: After Baddoch we drove to a large layby with timber stacking behind it at 055198. Heather then BWF then a new plantation bypassed on west side. Tentatively discovered the electric wiring near the top was switched off. Well spaced flat woodland at the top. HP anyone's guess but my reading of 410m seemed surprisingly high. Ascended from the road as 187lenny. The main difference was that summer conditions meant very long wet grass - I picked up 2 ticks. The local farmer/gamekeeper came up to see what I was doing, but was very pleasant. A new landowner had decided to let the grass grow.JohnW12/07/2019
Parked near Laintachan then walked through woods and up through field to woods at top.187lenny10/03/2019
