6 of 6: Parked at the ruin at Tomnaglein. Another car was already parked, presumably BigJ. We went up by the trees to the fence junction at 2064 3749 where the fence was down. Used extraction tracks to locate the HP. Could have been anywhere in the trees so GPS essential. With Karen. | ChrisR | 11/02/2022 |
Parked to the SE at Tomnaglein (which has a BM) beside a new forestry gate. Walked back to the mature strip of wood and wandered up until the E/W fence was reached. Followed this W until a convenient fire break led up to near the top. A handy machine track allowed access to the summit, which as is usual with Tumps, was a bit underwhelming. With Nozzer. | BigJ | 11/02/2022 |

Through wood - new tree felling ops are thinning out the summit trees. Easy access | Gonk | 12/11/2020 |
From the southeast using the mature woodland to get to the knackered fence. The fence is an obstacle, all posts are rotten but it is still standing, ready to start a second career as a wildlife trap. Found a gap at ground level for a tight crawl. Woodland beyond offered little resistance. | fasgadh | 22/07/2020 |
Went up through open woodland just above the Glen Farclas distillery. Just managed to cross fence into last field, | GordonAdshead | 04/11/2019 |
Parked at side of road to S of hill then walked up through woods. Returned same way. | 187lenny | 12/05/2019 |
As per Rod with a direct return across stubble field. | Smudge | 28/12/2018 |
As Rod except I followed the deer fence round to its N side where it had in fact collapsed then almost due S to the top. | chrisbien | 13/06/2018 |
Has to be said the deer fence isn't in great nick, if this wee hill was more popular it would have collapsed by now. | Dave McG | 17/04/2018 |
Parked by ruin (Tomnaglein), 1km south of Glenfarclas distillery. Ascended strip of woodland to highest ground then over wobbly deer fence L into plantation. Trees not too bad at first, then more dense around summit area. | Rod M | 08/05/2016 |
